Construction Project Manager

With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to client satisfaction, we are looking for a talented and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

As a Construction Project Manager at Hood Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of construction projects across these diverse sectors. You will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Lead project meetings and provide updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects in sectors such as healthcare, education, hospitality, or municipal.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
